I loved this show even though I had to read the whole thing. It is very respectful of elders and women and also very clean of sexual content and only has a little harsh language.
It is full of wonderful pageantry and color plus beautiful scenery and an amazing story line. It shows the great pride of the Korean people.
The acting was wonderful and I was filled with emotion with the characters. (This is amazing since I had to read it)
Although it is only based on history it caused me to do some research on Korea's history (Wikipedia is great for this). There were 2 queens not just one and this show seems to combine them into one. Sir Yushin was truly a great part of Korean history also.
