Freerunner (2011)
Disgraceful

Warning: Spoilers
This is probably the biggest insult to film making and parkour ever. Not only did I spend 90 minutes looking at a total disregard for human intelligence, but ruin the art of freerunning for those who are intrigued yet intimidated by the idea. Lawrence Silverstein ("Director") has taken his trust fund and already produced a handful of "films" that is clearly not yet ready for Youtube but yet has decided to make a montage of parkour clips that forces the audience to question if the cinematographer was just a crew member with nothing better to do. From the opening credits you are forced to take precautions against epilepsy, not a single sequence in this movie was ever shot on steadycam. The biggest concern comes when I realized the ENTIRE film plot was based on the 2000 Japanese film "Battle Royale", right down to the detail of explosive collars. Though, and I'm saying this ironically, the Japanese version had less relentless nudity than this piece of garbage. Never have I watch a film with such disgust and disdain that it causes me to rethink about being in the film business altogether, but if you love movies and are looking for something that will get your blood boiling, watch this movie, otherwise, please do whatever it takes to sue this movie for EVERYTHING infringement.
