This is a samurai movie with depth and realism to it, in fact the realism is done a way where it's absorbing to watch. To some degree it's a poignant movie with that has humanity in it. However if your looking for a action packed samurai movie with a lot of sword fighting this isn't the type of movie you will like. However the few sword fighting there is, is done in a very realistic manner, like the story of this movie itself. It isn't a movie for everyone, but for those that like to watch artistic types of movie that is done very well and this movie accomplishes that task. The plot is about a samurai that isn't just ablogation to his duties but his family as well and he is a good father to his two daughter that he needs to take care of. And show the hardships he must face as a samurai while being a family man as well. This is a good movie and it accomplishes what it tries to do, but it just isn't my type of movie I get really into in some aspects.
