Derren Brown is a very smart (including his dress code) magician, illusionist and mentalist, and he is always making interesting programmes to astound, provoke and sometimes confuse us. This was an attempt to do that where he got some volunteers to conduct in an experiment involving gambling on race horses, and hopefully win big money. Apparently there is some "system" where if done right you can pick the horse that will win a race, and obviously get lots of cash winnings. He eliminated one by one the volunteers who lost the races, until it came to the final black woman, who succeeded in all races she played, and walked away with a lot of cash. Unfortunately, this was so confusing, it was too difficult to follow, or even care about, well, the race horse thing was boring enough, so a bit of a disappointment. Adequate!
