The Usual Suspects. The name didn't interest me and so did the cast. But I wanted to give it a try as it was a crime movie. Generally, I never watch a movie more than five times even though if its perfectly made and this movie is an exception. I have watched it completely for 23 times and I still long for more.
Firstly, all the actors put up a brilliant performance. I have never heard of Kevin Spacey before in my life and after watching this movie I have become a revered worshiper of his. Ah!, how he acts through the movie. It's pleasing to see him act and when the Final twist is revealed one will definitely applaud for his wonderful, stunning performance.
In fact this little movie houses the best Climax EVER in history. Strictly speaking this movie can only be enjoyed after repeated viewing.
Pete Postlethwaite is brilliant as Kobayashi, Keyser Soze's aide. Gabriel Byrne, Chazz Paliminteri and Stephen Baldwin put up a memorable show.
The revelation of the story is simply super. The way the story unfolds from a normal crime thriller to a great master-piece should simply be seen. In fact, this is one movie where the power of the villain is felt without actually filming or portraying the villain in action. A great movie to be watched and in my opinion its the best movie ever made!!
