TTTOTW is a good biopic of climber Eric Weihenmayer, the first blind man to climb Everest. It is inspirational in a big movie way - the last 30 minutes when they concentrate on the climb are very well done indeed.
It suffers from oversentimentality in the romantic back story which is justified but in its sappiness reduces the overall worth of the film.
The film shines when it's climbing in snow, a little shaky and overblown at first, by the time we get halfway the film ignites and is amazingly watchable. We were glued for the lat 30 minutes which were very good indeed.
All in all, a shade too made for TV in the love story - though it is romantic it is too perfect - but the climbing rocks - and is really well done.
If this appears on your TV it is definitely watchable and we found it inspiring and uplifting - and memorable. Which for a TV movie is rare.
