I saw this movie at the Verona Love International Film Festival and I also got lucky to participate in to the vote of the audience in 2002. The film reviles the story with the colorful beauty the exceptional richness of the visual expression. It bares the Mediterranean spirit and the its rich flavour. The tale itself offers tender full narration of various stage from the first burst of emotions of adolescence or adultery. This film is an unique though true to the world of Stefan Zweig novels. I loved the set designers work creation of the twenties of last century. The casting of the actors is perfect :Walter Toschi as the Baron has left on the screen the gorgeous palette of emotions seduction and weakness…But of course unforgettable is the part of Edgar in the role the unprofessional Bulgarian kid. The film is overfilled with beauty. Such is the incredibly lovely, even divine the music score of "Love Dreams". Stefan Dimitrov is an amazingly gifted composer who gave us with this music score the absolute delight of his great talent.
