This movie was a well written movie. Iman Ali's performance was very convincing. The movie shows exactly what is wrong in Pakistan. Her part in the movie pertains to many, many people. Now a lot of those people are struggling with their own kids. I was so happy she stayed in Pakistan and decided to help the situation by educating women. So many of us run away from the problem and pretend like it doesn't exist. About the whole Shaan issue. It's also sad but true. The whole event was a tragedy. It was extremely bad for the people who were killed in the event, but the Muslims and Sikhs were victimized by everyone. The media could not even differentiate between a Sikh and Muslim. Then the reality of the part about the taweez and how we all know how to read Arabic but don't know the meaning How do you explain that to people who were not born into our culture??? It's so frustrating but very real. Hopefully we will get to see some more great movies from this director.
