If you have watched any anime, 90% that Pokemon was your first. Yes that's right. Just because it was on Cartoon Network and not aired during the time the regular anime airs doesn't mean it's a cartoon. How can a cartoon make so much money off merchandising Pokemon with video games, movies, television shows, action figures, trading cards, plushies, and more? Pokemon has some competition with Digimon. Although, It's not hard to see that Pokemon is winning in the ratings.
One thing I have to say, I like the old 1998 Pokemon other than the new Pokemon Diamond and others. But my opinion may change once I watch when the first episode of the next series after this airs. Then I won't be behind anymore. Pokemon is exciting, and full of adventure. There's many Pokemon left to discover! This is what makes Pokemon keep on living and more exciting.
It's quite interesting how Pokemon managed to come back with new series after a few years of kids making fun of other kids who watch it because it was so old. It's like Barney, how once he was popular and now people are making fun of him saying he molests children. I love the characters Misty, Brock, and Ash and don't forget Pikachu! Those people will be in my hearts. Everyone will remember Pokemon if you have seen it and laugh about how much you miss it. So give it another chance! I recommend this show for everyone.
