Through 'Lovesick', Cohen gives us a glimpse of the going ons during the making of 'Zumanity', Cirque du Soleil's most provocative (for adults only) show till date. Here we see the ambitious directors, the working-their-arse-off crew and a more human side of the performers. We see a somewhat dark world of compromise and sacrifice, the toll it has on their personal life, their relationship with their partner, their insecurity, their determination and their weaknesses. While the audience appreciate their effort on stage, 'Lovesick' allows us to respect them more as human beings but at the same time some of these people are pitiful while a few are hateful. Those interested in the 'behind the scenes' of Cirque du Soleil's most erotic show, watch 'Lovesick' for it will show you more than just behind the scenes.
