Totally weird experience here.

Warning: Spoilers
I intended on renting the Edward Norton film "Down in the Valley" (because I adore him), but my husband thought I meant this film. So when this came in, I was a little disappointed and confused. The story seemed interesting, so I figured what the heck. I am always for discovering an indi film.

The start was a little slow and disjointed. It slowly started to pick up and by the end it got very intense. It was almost too much, one thing after another, but still was realistic. It may have been a little overwhelming is all. Really didn't expect the murder, which was disturbing to say the least.

I recognized a few faces in there which was cool. I loved watching Scarface from Half Baked in this movie. Yum. Definitely my favorite character. Although, I felt a tear coming during the scene when Garrett is crying beside his brother. I found myself really rooting for him. It was sad seeing him finally hit that breaking point. Good unknown actor.

Overall, it was entertaining, had great acting, and was a story worthy of telling. The drugs, the rape, yadi, yadi, yada, yeah it has been done before, but whatever. Wasn't disappointed in the end result, so I thought I'd give you guys a 'lil shout out. Good job.
