What a Horrible "docu-drama"
16 April 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Horrible "acting", and a biased view of American's is what you get from this Canadian film.

I chose to watch this movie because, hey who likes Bush anymore and I was vastly let down. I knew going into it that, yes it is fictional- a docu-drama most would call it, but most docu-dramas don't leave the viewers laughing so hysterically that they personally want to re-shelve it themselves in the comedy section. The acting could be compared to "SAW I" and if you never got a chance to see "SAW I" then don't rent that either.

Then there was the way the "protesting Americans" were portrayed. They were holding up signs with pleas of peace and chanting for peace in Iraq while violently attacking the police to penetrate the barricades to Bush's limousine. Close ups of protesters showed people with blue hair or a shaved head, all young, angry and willing to commit violence.

News to ya Mr. Range--- not all Bush haters (and this includes me and well, all people I know) commit violence to express our displeasure with him and his ideals. In fact a great deal of us find very peaceful ways to deal with him, like voting in primaries or "peaceful" political activism. Despite your obvious judgment on American's based on one thing you might have seen in the past---- I am not going to assume that all British are as ignorant as you, Mr. Range.

The movie was biased... it was not informative--- if you are going to do a fictional drama, doing it in a documentary format is never a good way to go. Documentaries are meant to be an informative medium. No one will EVER successfully make a "fictional drama" in an "informative media" like the documentary. Can't be done. You can't "INFORM" on something that is dramatic fiction.
