I remember seeing my two older sisters watch this movie--I must have been about 8 or 9 yrs old. I never saw the movie any more until I was 20 yrs old in my own apt. It came on one night on one of the movie classics channels of cable. I was a blubbering idiot fromthe beginning until the end. The actors/actresses were wonderful and I have always loved that era--where women/men really loved and movedheaven and earth to be with each other,as well as how they dressed inthose days. I've often thought of that movie and have asked manyfriends if they've seen it. I also remember "A Streetcar Named Desire", and these movies remind me of each other. I enjoy watching dramatic, love stories, and I count "Backstreet" as one of my favorites.
