I've been involved in aviation in one way or another (UAL stewardess, flight instructor (GUM, OAK, OKC), charter pilot, FAA inspector) for over 40 years. I've had the pleasure of being able to airport bum at VNY in the early 70's and remember walking around Super Snoopy in awe and respect. I've been "flying a desk" for too long now and this movie struck such an emotional chord with me...it reminded me why I got started in aviation in the first place and why I took the $5 bill in my pocket (all the money I had at the time) and spent it on my intro flight lesson at the Stockton Airport. And what a Ride I've experienced since then! Thanks, Brian, for your astute insight into a very special world that I've been honored to be a part of all these years.
