Review of Throw

Throw (2005)
10/10
Intriguing film that draws people into a personal account of real family dynamics
24 May 2006
Throw eloquently demonstrated the intricacies of family relationships, which caused me to think about my own. Most families have some degree of dysfunction about them, and each scene showed those human vulnerabilities, which served as a key element in building the story and a connection with the audience. It's sometimes difficult to look at the scary aspects of family life, and this film puts it all out there for you to see in a most raw form. Each character displayed brilliant abilities in their roles, and I felt as if I was viewing a documentary instead of a short film. I encourage people to see this film and guarantee you will develop a personal connection with the story, and re-connect with events in your own life. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and the final scene left me wanting more.
