I wasn't 100% pleased with this movie. Mostly because the very beginning was a bit confusing for me. I mean, when did the whole Augusta threatening her mom thing come into play in the movie? I was a bit confused, practically waiting the whole movie for that part to makes sense to me, and it never really did.
Some of the scenes were a bit typical for movies like this. Cutting your hair...kind of expected, didn't you think? Reminded me too much of Odd Girl Out. The ending, where they show the real "Augusta" and her mother was a bit typical too. Though, I did like how they had her talking to the older version of herself on the bus ride home. Lifetime movies usually tend to be very good, but I've seen better in the case of Augusta, Gone.
