Warning: Spoilers
OK, first thing's first.=======SPOILER WARNING========= I have been one of the biggest Doom fans ever since it came out. I have played each and every game without making it boring for myself, that is, without using a single cheat, and playing on Moderate difficulty. Doom has been one of the most successful franchises in gaming history. There are 3 main things I would love to discuss right now. STORY Although this game can be infinitely interesting, and there are a lot of climaxes, it lacks a detailed story. SPOILER. The story basically suggests Swann came to investigate strange mishaps on Mars, and he suspects Betruger's experiments are causing these, and you are a marine sent with Swann to find a missing scientist. When you find the scientist, all hell breaks loose, Delta Teleporter opens, and Betruger changes sides, Swann and Campbell go looking for him, and your Sarge turns against you. It's up to you to find your way to Delta 4 to teleport to hell, retrieve the soul cube, and destroy the secondary hellgate. Some main things in the game are explained in the many scattered PDAs, rare meetings with live scientists, and the few video discs. Thats it, not much of a story is there?

GRAPHIX Absolutely stunning. I am lucky to have seen the best graphics on Doom 3 cuz I have a RADEON X700(bought it 3 days ago), and I have my comp. hooked up(wifi) to my 27" HP HDTV FP Display. I play the game under Ultra High, and its just amazing. No question about the graphics at all, one of the best, certainly not the best. Beat Half-Life 2 suckers.

GAMEPLAY/AI The game-play is very fun and scary. The game is mainly dark(a minus), and your flashlight produces minimal light, which can be scary when all of a sudden an Archvile slowly appears in front of you and screams. More than 22 hours is needed to blow on this game in order to beat it, and every second is enjoyable, but very similar to each other. Different environments always make a game more enjoyable. The AI is very basic, attack using different methods.

*My not so main interests in games. WEAPONS Although this game displays some of the best ever designed weapons, every weapon has the same function, which is to DAMAGE anything in its path. No weapon does something that another one cannot do. Looking at Half-Life 2, no weapon is meant for the same use as another one, every weapon plays a critical role in the game, if you don't use every single weapon in the game, your chances of winning are 1/infinity. Overall, the weapons are very faithful to the original Doom, and one or two new ones.

ENEMIES When it comes to enemies, Doom 3 is faithful by names, yet no enemy looks like it did before, I mean none. They all have the same functions and strength thought. I guess id wanted the enemies to look more realistic, but come on, who knows how realistic hell creatures look. I was disappointed when they changed the Cyberdemon, but now I have 2 new favorites, the Archvile and Hellknight.

I think that anyone willing to play a game that will challenge patience, intelligence, and fear, is definitely fit to play Doom³. ***I do not recommend this game to anyone under 18, or anyone who gets scared easily, and to the parents who let their kids play Doom³ because they 'love' their kids, you are very mistaken, but again, they are your kids, I am only making a comment.***

If you are under 18, and you play this during school time, please, please focus on your lessons, and not this game, you'll have 50+ years to play as many games as you want, but only your first 18 years are good enough to earn you a good learning, and education.
