Great Treatment for Greatest of All Time
16 November 2005
Bret The Hit-man Hart is the greatest WWF (WWE) champion of all time and it is nice to see him get the treatment he deserves on this DVD. For those of us who idolized Bret throughout his career and struggled through the latter difficulties, this is a wonderful celebration of a truly legendary wrestler.

The DVD focuses greatly upon Bret's earlier experience before the WWF and with the Hart Foundation. It is a pleasure to watch him develop in these early matches and see their influence on his prime years, which are well documented here as well.

Some of the highlights of this DVD include Bret and Dynamite Kid going at it in Stampede Wrestling, Bret v. Ricky Steamboat, Bret v. Mr. Perfect for the IC title, Bret v. the British Bulldog at Wembley Stadium, and Bret v. Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 13.

As is expected, not everything is here including the Iron Man Match with Shawn Michaels from Wrestlemania 12, the classic cage match with Owen, and Bret's first title win against Flair. Such absences will disappoint some. However, the matches chosen will surely satisfy even the most critical Hit-man fan.

The greatest highlight of the DVD is the comments Hart makes throughout. It is a pleasure to hear his opinions on matches and stories from his life in wrestling, especially those about Owen.

Throughout his career, the Hit-man character excelled with pristine in-ring technique and a quiet, humble confidence that reached the everyman in all of us. He didn't have to yell or dance, he was simply that cool.

This DVD is a true representation of the heroism we used to be fortunate enough to enjoy on a weekly basis. Thus, it is a must for anyone who wants to see wrestling at the best it is, was, or ever will be.
