I don't agree that the German Peter Alexander movies are boring at all. They are nice entertainment for rainy afternoons with the family. Probably mostly for middle-aged women - I am 20 and like them. It is nothing very important to remember, but also nothing to switch away. And during that time they actually knew how to tell sweet love-stories and the actors had some musical skills.
I have to admit though: the roles Peter Alexander did play so far didn't vary too much. If you realize that it is raining heavily outside, are sitting around with some friends or relatives and are not in the mood for movies you have to think about, then these ones are the right choice. sic! :)
