Donald Pleasence's Most Interesting role

Warning: Spoilers
Death Line is a strange movie in every sense of the word but also an enjoyable, if not horrid, one. The best thing about this movie is the very believable acting and fairly realistic and horrible looking effects. I have heard that this film has a low budget but It certainly doesn't show. Heres a very brief summary of the first few minutes of the film: A gentle-manly looking gentle man is walking around 'red-light' light Soho and then into the tube where he meets a woman who kicks him in the balls and another 'Man' coming towards him, we hear a very dumb-sounding voice say "Mind the doors". Two students find him and go to get help but when they come back he has gone. They go and get Inspector Calhoun (Played very well by Donald Pleasence) and his partner Detective Sergeant Rogers (Norman Rossington) to investigate.

Death Line is a very good film and Donald Pleasences Character is very likable (even he he is not always friendly) and it is a shame he didn't get a series of films. This film also featured a cameo from Christopher Lee, it is a shame his character never returned after his brief sequence. But don't let me give away the whole film, go and watch it for yourselves.
