Riverworld is a Sci-Fi channel original movie. The Sci-fi channel usually does a good job, but this time it was tv movie like. This movie will keep you entertained if you have nothing to do and there is nothing else on tv. It is about a strange land in which only hundreds of people from the past, present, and future are resurrected,swim ashore, and find evidence that a higher power of some kind is at work. It stars Brad Johnson, an actor who is mostly in straight-to-video "B movies" and tv movies such as this, which is no suprise. Johnson's acting was tolerable while others were not. Much of the movie was quite predictable, but what keeps you watching is that you are curious what the big picture is. But you are disappointed at the end when NOTHING is explained. It ends like a tv series which will continue, which leads me to believe that this movie will have a sequel of some kind.
