Review of A Loving Act

A Loving Act (2001)
A wonderful short film that carries with it a strong moral message!
18 March 2002
A very intriguing and moving film that's uneasy to view with it's emotional story.

Although a short, it still manages to deal with a very difficult situation as to how far someone can go to prove their love's worth?

Great performances all round, especially from leads Robert Ashby and the late Charlottle Coleman as the prosecuting attorney. However the film really belongs to Alex Kingston who carries the character's burden in the film.

It's not everyday that films like this come out and deal with horrific dilemmas that many would prefer to ignore.

Brilliant. 9/10
