After Transformers ended, there was Beast Wars. After Beast Wars, there was Beast Machines. Now, there is Robots In Disguise, a story that combines original Transformers and Beast Wars. Actually, R.I.D. is nothing more than a dubbed over version of the Japanese show CAR ROBOTS. This was done to buy extra time to create the new series (Transformers: Armada, which came out in August.) As a Transformers show, this is really lackluster. Bad plots and stupid characters are what caused the fans to riot in this case. I give it 6.5 of 10.
One more thing... R.I.D. may be one of the worst Transformers shows (if not THE worst), but the toys based on the TV show characters are some of the best I have ever seen.
