Based on seeking a Divx version of the first episode "Battle Protocol" I can say the this about the new TF series. The new Optimus Prime and Megatron are okay. I like the new Fire Truck design of Prime, voice was okay too. I don't like the design of the Predacons. Didn't they belong in Beastwars? Character don't behave like they once did. Just big words but the point behind it seems to go by me. The weapons are cool though.
I dislike the animation style. To much Pokemon like, to simple. From what I understand it's standard Japenese style. I prefer the US style, the style Disney uses. Characters are actually moving. Some shots where more slide shows then animation.
Music and sound, I don't know didn't notice much or any music at all.
Story, it took Megatron 20 minutes to capture the scientist. There was to much fighting. Little happens to the story in one episode. This way it takes 5 to 8 episodes before the story ends.
Conclusion, if it would air here I wouldn't mind missing a few eps. Give me G1 or Beastwars.
