"Love and Sex" is an earnest effort in every respect. Janssen and Favreau play well off each other, the film has a clever script, some creative segues, and is is technically and artistically well done. The film's luke warm reception by critics and audience is probably due to it's failure to bring something fresh and new to the most challenging of genres; the tired, overworked romantic comedy.
