The Garden of Redemption (1997 TV Movie)
Touching war movie
31 January 2001
Warning: Spoilers
Only a devout America-hater would denigrate this fine war film made in a straightforward fashion refreshingly devoid of the current Hollywood positions on the Catholic Church and the US Army (Church corrupt; Army evil).

The film recreates the terror of life in one out-of-way Italian village occupied by the Nazis at the end of World War II. The acting-- from the leader of the partisans to the young priest and the woman he dies for--is all first rate.

It is an interesting, entertaining and heart-warming movie.
