This movie is quite an improvement over the first series. The annoying kids, cheap special FX, and horrible theme songs are gone. The movie deals with the ongoing conflict between Gamera and Gyaos. Their origins have changed. The special FX are overall pretty good. The CGI used enhances a lot of the scenes. The monster fights are OK. The dialogue is pretty corny and made worse by the voices in the dubbing. Overall, a pretty good kaiju film. However, it fails to reach the level of the Godzilla series.
