About a African male, that faces uphill challenges all the way through his immigration in Spain, I found him to be just too predictable and not driven. The directors use of lighting was so confusing, the long drawn out pacing, and his use of characters was not very well developed. The distraction or even the lack of subtitles on the English version is quite frustrating. A movie that is overrated, and would not really recommend. I believe Pedro Almodovar could have done more justice to this.
