It's ok, but still the damage was already done.

Hanna-Barbera wanted to heal the wounds of disgruntled Scooby fans who were deeply offended by Scrappy Doo A.S.A.P. So, they tried to give viewers a taste of the Scooby WE ALL knew! In the End, "Scooby's mystery fun house was still pretty much like the scooby shows that came after when Scrappy came along: Horrible, uninventive, and pretty much not as scary as the good old days of Scooby. I mean, this show was one the best Scooby shows (if you exclude "The 13 ghosts of Scooby Doo") that came out after 1979, but still the show lacked some fundamentals that the older shows had. And besides, the damage to the franchise back then (due to Scrappy) was already done. Less than a year later, ABC took off Scooby Doo (which has the record for longest running saturday morning cartoon which was 17 years from 1969-1986) possibly due to low ratings over those last few years. If you're into the pre-Scrappy Doo era with shows like Scooby Doo, where are you, or even the New Scooby Movies, then this one isn't for you.
