My wife and I had never seen Magnum PI when it was on prime time until my friend had a farewell to Magnum party when the series was ending. We went to Hawaii in 1990 & 1994 and looked for all of the places in the show. After our trip we started watching the re-runs. We fell in love with the show. If you have ever been to Hawaii, you will love the show. Sure they don't always play it straight, there are "comedy" episodes, but the scenery and the locations make it all worth while.
