Bad, Dull and Dreary
8 December 2003
In order to provide blood for a vampire couple, an evil butler named George (John Carradine) has his monstrous henchman Mango (Ray Young) abduct young girls and chain them up in the cellar! Eventually this bizarre family of freaks are joined by a serial killer named Johnny (Robert Dix) who they are sure will spice things up around the place.

A young engaged couple are unlucky enough to inherit the castle this bunch of psychotic weirdos inhabit and wind up prisoners as well.

I'm not to going to lie to you. This is a BAD movie with BAD in capitalization. It's dull, dreary, poorly acted and written and has what are probably the two most ineffective vampires in history (even though one is supposed to Count Dracula?!).

So why do I have this in my collection. Well it's a guilty pleasure of mine that I have a weakness for bad movies and well this I recorded out of curiosity due to Al Adamson's involvement with it..most bad movie fans will know who Adamson is (the man who directed DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN amongst others). Even in terms of Adamson's offerings, this is poor in comparison. John Carradine never had it so bad and seems embarrassed in this film.

Still I keep it in my collection bizarrely enough digging it out to watch on occasion. I really have no idea why beyond saying perhaps it's due to the weirdness of this movie.
