Film without Dialogue
12 December 2003
It's a pity that there was no dialogue in this film. The play was quite wordy, and in most of DeMille's talking films you find that there is a lot of fluffy dialogue without intimacy. I admire his efforts as a writer, but I don't think much of him as a writer. He is more of a painter than a writer.
