This is a list celebrating female screenwriters beginning from the silent movie era, following old Hollywood, and many many famous names from modern times and of course by including international movies! I'm sure you will be shocked to learn about female screenwriters you didn't know existed and who wrote the scripts for the movies you actually loved! Of course, there are more fantastic female screenwriters but I included my favourite ones. :)
