It all started here, well at least the movie franchise did, based on the popular 1960's TV series this is an excellent kick start for a nice little franchise for Tom Cruise.

The 4th and to date final film of the franchise, it did an excellent job of poking fun at the age of the actors as well as giving Chris Rock an excellent opportunity to showcase his comedic skills as well as his acting chops.

Although not huge at the box office this film showed that Shane Black still had what it takes to entertain. Excellent film with great performances by Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer.

This film has a lot to like, there's the requisit assassination of a public figure and frame up and there are some very good twists to this film making it worth a high ranking on my action movies list.
