Deathhead Island

Gore Collector, lead by Molly is looing to escape Deathhead Island. They enter the Red Vortex and Molly plays a VHS tape in Tapehead and this is what we see. The film is a collection of Charles Band/Full Moon vampire features which include blood, gore, seduction, and nudity. It starts with Radu who usurps the inheritance of his brother to obtain the Blood Stone. (I think they spliced 2 or 3 films of the series). This was the main feature but it also includes tidbits from other films throwing characters and scenes at us with no introduction and no continuity of plot.

BTW silver bullets are for werewolves, not vampires.

"Greatest Hits" films are just not my thing...

The low rating is not indicative of the films contained in this "collection of tidbits," rather the collection in itself. I wast exactly sure what this was about, so I hit play and kept my fingers crossed. I realized very quickly that it was exactly as it read...a collection of pieces of movies spliced together and promoted as some of the "goriest moments from Full Moon's catalog." Many of the films they chose (eg several of the Sub-Species films) are good movies, but watching bits and pieces of films is not what I'm in to. Especially since I had seen all of the movies featured. They don't even identify which films the scenes are culled from.

Some might like this kind of thing, but to me it's useless.
