At last, best episode of the season so far

I was starting to get a bit bored with previous episodes (except the first) but now seems the series is back on track. I love how they make you understand that the Vatican, in order to work properly, must be considered as a family with Lenny as father figure. He's the glue to keep everything and everybody together. Good job Sorrentino and Jude.
Justifies the previous bad episodes

Great Series

I'm an atheist, yet find this series (The Young Pope & The New Pope) most interesting, well written & fascinating in regard to the politicsthat rule the office. I love the characters and the sins they are caught bare naked performing and the hatred / hypocrisy the poor & nuns suffer. I particularly love Lenny Belardo!
the painting

The first six episodes are only a sketch. Traits of hesitating drawing. The episode eight represents the painting. The episodes seven and eight are just confirmation than, without Jude Law, the serie is tasteless, the story is only nice try and the poor John Malkovich - prisoner of a role who is far to be his. The gift - the speech about Girolamo, touching in so many senses. But the things became well. And the audience mus be just happy.
