Enjoyable movie.

I was not sure what to expect when watching the movie. The trailer suggests much, but the film gives more.

The mix of cultures is represented very well. Starting in the UK, moving to different parts of the Philippines, there is a need to adapt to different situations. I particularly liked the variety of locations and the filming of the scenery.

The story is fairly easy to follow and the main actors convincing, especially the leads. The horse demon is a mythical creature in the Philippines and there are very few films based on the subject, therefore the subject matter is original.

A good film with creative content to keep the viewer interested all the way through.

Unveiling the Horse Demon is such a diverse movie as it fits more than one genre. From drama to adventure with fantasy to horror, it's the ideal pick for movie lovers with different tastes to come together for a great movie night.

It stars Guy Lockwood as Mario, a young man traveling from the UK to the Philippines to search for his father. The plot involves fantasy beings and supernatural events. Meeting locals like Estong, played by Gene Padilla, in a foreign country provide an opportunity to learn more about the culture. The film is filled with beautiful landscapes and cultural scenes.

Lockwood is an excellent story teller, an actor with an impressive range and talent who certainly knows his craft well and how to bring his character to life. He takes you on this exciting journey you find yourself wishing for movie part 2 to come out soon.

I really enjoyed watching Unveiling the Horse Demon and would highly recommend it.
