The one show demolished.

You need to be aware of the one show, and its format, and you need to be a fan of Alan Partridge, if not you're going to be totally put off.

Steve Coogan is a terrific performer, I think he's brilliant, and love or hate Alan Partridge, he's been around for some time, he makes me laugh, and his attempt to build a TV career is cringe worthy, some great lines.

It made me laugh. 8/10

Episode 1.1

The last time Alan Partridge was on the BBC. He hit the boss of the BBC with a stuffed turkey. A-ha!

Now he is back as a temporary replacement in This Time.

Partridge is clearly nervous, no one gets him that glass of water. He soon finds out he needs to be careful with his one liners, the co-presenter Jennie Gresham immediately steals them.

Obviously this is a parody of The One Show. However it was a bit flat in places. You need Alan to come on his own when he is chasing the Hacktavist guy down the corridor or when Simon Denton could not get to grips with the touchscreen.

The first episode was uncertain. I would not wash my hands off it yet.
