Wolf is a clever woman and pretty humorous. She has great delivery, and somehow turns her strange voice into an asset. But she comes off hypocritical when she declares her comedy to be feminist, but then relentlessly body shames men. Feminists have spent decades complaining about the body shaming of women, so when they then turn around and body shame men, one must conclude that it is some immature quest for revenge. If we step away from feminist narratives, it becomes obvious that both genders practice body shaming, and that we'd all be better off if it stopped.

Michelle is Amazing. She's totally told it like it is. Ppl who complain about her voice just don't get it. Her Voice is part of what makes her so Dang Funny. I've watched "Nice Lady" about 50 times. I'm trying to find where I can Buy this on DVD. Michelle you're the BOMB..!!! Stay the way you are..!!!
Excellent!

For once a comic using humor instead of shock.
Avoids the off-color, or profane,
yet is definitely Adult Humor.
Feminist Humor...
On target for women. Very much like men have had a corner of humor,
often at women's expense--- this is aimed at Women.
There a great number of "Uh-huh, you got it!"--
--- I am dismayed that every reviewer seems to focus on the voice.
As if other comics aren't too short, too wide, or too unattractive-- or have and accent--and we
overlook it. It is more like a signature voice, and certainly not the most important thing about her!
Michelle Wolf is a smart, funny woman

Hysterical!

I've watched this twice now and it's so funny every time. My friend watched it on a plane and CRIED laughing. If you don't like Michelle's voice well then, just don't watch this special, but if you don't mind it then tune in for a tried and true standup. You can tell that she really went to so many clubs and worked on this material for so long. It's not groundbreaking, it's classic comedy, like Seinfeld or Louis CK or someone. But better because we get a new female perspective. Who else could come up with that joke about global warming being passive aggressive? I can't wait for her next special!
PS- if you like this, check out her Netflix show. The first half of every episode is stand-up style monologue jokes. After that is some other stuff that you might like or might not.

I knew she was funny but I was not expecting to be holding my sides by the end. Unreal and flawless. I've never seen my wife laugh so hard either. On point through the whole hour. Instantly became a classic in our house.
Hilarious, but men won't have as much fun with it

Michelle Wolf was hilarious, intelligent, and REAL. Most of the negative written reviews on here are by men who hate her "feminist jokes" or who think she's a "feminist hypocrite" because she made some jokes about testicles being gross and apparently that's body shaming. The truth is a lot of the stand-up (though definitely not all of it) was her bluntly and hilariously talking about the random struggles of being a woman and she did it tastefully (with still a touch of raunchiness cause we're all adults here). But if youre scared of period jokes, and youre anti-political comedy then it's probably not going to be something your into.
My favorite stand-up special

I saw a video of Michelle Wolf on YouTube and remembered laughing my ass off watching one of her comedy specials years ago. Yesterday I watched 'Joke Show', which was also really good, but apparently that wasn't the one I had watched before and 'Nice Lady' was.
Watched it a second time just now, still had me laughing a lot and smiling while watching pretty much the whole time. It's very difficult for a comedian to be consistently funny for an entire hour. In this case I'd say 50 of the 60 minutes were really good! Especially the ending sequence is brilliant, in my opinion, but the start is also super strong and I love it when she pokes fun at her angelic voice.

yet another woman comedian talking about gender differences

Just like her fellow feminist comedians, she's so biased and so much incapable of irony and self-mockery, that she makes a really pitiful scene. All her "jokes" are really simply her opinions. And I don't think they're funny
Completely not funny

Her greatest offense is she is boring
joeyford-5534224 July 2018
She is famous for being offensive. A liberal who believes #MeToo only applies if you are not a conservative. Her White House debut was so bad people were walking out and they are looking to restructure the entire event so such a pile of poop is not left on stage again. This TV special is more of that. Not funny but offensive. Funny in the same way that the big, fat kid in grade school pushed smart, nerdy kids down into the mud. If you are into that kind of humor, have at it. Just a sad statement on today's comedy world. She has caused more people to cancel NETFLIX accounts than Obama. Skip this trash
