This is the episode where Gomorrah Jumps the Shark

Warning: Spoilers
It's hard to rate this episode, because on one hand, the episode itself is a 9/10 because the acting, directing is awesome, but it's a 1 in the sense that Genney is let off with his life by his father-in-law who knows what a lying, double crossing scumbag he is. As if his father in law thinks he will abide simply by his words. It's nonsense. Ridiculous.

You also know that Genney will end up partners with Cirro again, which is also bizarre, since only a while back, they were trying to kill each other.

I was watching this series, episode after episode, and I now started to watch the next episode, and I need a rest. Genney meeting up with Cirro like they are old friends? Give me a break.

I believe the term is called "jumped the shark". Google it. I think you all will agree.

The point of no-return for this trainwreck of a season

Warning: Spoilers
My overall rating of "Gomorra: La serie"'s Season 3: 2/10

I might misremember, of course, but from my memory Gennaro's last face-to-face with the alley kids had them break their guarantees, shoot his side's dudes, killing one, and threaten to kill him, as they betrayed his supposed side in the conflict. In this episode, they're brothers again, somehow, and Genny is upset to see them die, but not so upset as to get out of the backseat of a car, while being a dude the size of a kid elephant.

I might misremember, of course, but from my memory Donna Annalise's last face-to-face with Patrizia had her... sell her a dress?.. while secretely serving the opposite side in a war... Why does Patrizia (pretend to) serve her, now? Like, what's the connection? Surely, if Patrizia is known to the Comorra at all, it's as Don Pietro's messenger? I never got why Donna Annalise turned to Don Pietro then, in the first place, but he betrayed her and sold her out to the alley kids, didn't he? And why is Gennaro apparently bankrolling her, by the way? And how does she have any organisation left, let alone enough to immediately threaten war? For that matter, is killing Mario the only charge against her, and only hinging on one witness? Are the police that incompetent that a leader of a massive gang has _no_ evidence against her, once she's behind bars, and (mostly) lost a war?

The whole plot with Avitable, Gege and "imprisoning" Genny (IN HIS OWN CITY WHERE HE'S THE BOSS) instead of killing him... Is best left undiscussed, because swearwords tend to be moderated here.

(I've watched this series in original languages with English subtitles)
