Dreadful hodge-podge of Penthouse filler scenes
lor_23 August 2017
I'm ready to cry "Uncle!" after seeing a bevy of recent Penthouse video releases, so poorly made that one almost longs for the mediocre but watchable Penthouse DVDs of 5 to 10 years ago. This one has four directors (none of them competent) credited, merely a symptom of the trend toward individual scenes rather than features as a production standard.

Uncredited superstar Lexi Belle hosts, introducing each of five unrelated vignettes by reading a reader's letter, this being a Penthouse Forum production. (The Forum logo is only displayed on screen, while the DVD packaging nowadays omits that designation.) The title "Sugar Daddies" doesn't fit, seemingly chosen at random.

Lexi keeps her clothes on throughout as part of the bait and switch approach -once seen at the outset she would be a pleasant finale participant to deliver some XXX content, but that doesn't happen.

Instead we get a mundane cast of familiar lovelies, only one of which i found tantalizing. That is MILF Sindy Lange, whose career goes way back and has found new life in Lesbian Cinema of late. Here she is paired with Seth Gamble and gives an impressive blow job. Calling her Janice, Lexi tells us she's a literary agent, but all the Lexi intros are merely tacked on and have nothing to do with the generic sex scenes compiled here.

Worst sequence (I wonder which director did it, so I can avoid other junk from him) has to be a ridiculous burlesque sketch in which NonSex guest star Tony Rosano (none of the male cast gets a screen credit) overacts miserably as a '50s styled domineering husband giving cute wife Katie St. Ives a hard time. After he leaves for work, door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman Mark Wood arrives and is seduced by horny Katie with a contest wherein she not only gets sexually serviced but ends up with a free vacuum cleaner. This is a true mega-groaner of a scene.

A stupid Oiler segment has Abby Cross as a masseuse with aggressive customer Alec Knight, in which that genre's slow, sensual build-up to sex is dispensed with foolishly. A stunning, busty blonde as a previous client has a show-stopping cameo, but doesn't get a credit either, and I didn't recognize the actress in the part.
