  • A man and woman engage in sex at a public parking lot. During the act, they have a conversation about something else. Only thrusting seen on screen. No nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • All of the blood in this movie is obviously CGI and fake. It makes the scenes of gun violence more funny than scary or suspenseful.
  • A man bursts into a crowded restaurant shooting a gun. He moralizes and intends to kill a man.
  • A man shoots another man. There is blood, but it is obviously fake and CGI. Not gory.
  • A woman vomits after every time she must speak in public. She is shown leaning over the toilet throughout the film and you can hear it, but the actual vomit is not shown.
  • A man is randomly punched in a bar. He is taken to the emergency room in an ambulance. It is never explained why this happened.

Profanity

  • multiple f words, mostly at the beginning and end of the film. Some used in a threatening sexual context. Also d**k, a*s in sexual contexts. Sporadic use of milder profanity such as s**t and d**m. Also, derogatory terms for lesbians are used by a hostile character.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters drink socially.
  • A man and woman snort lines of cocaine every night. The man often picks up drugs from another man in parking lots at night.
  • A man tells a woman his dealer didn't show up and asks her to go out and find drugs for them instead.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Although this film covers dark subject matter, much of the violent or intense scenarios are made less so in the film, or feel obviously fake.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • The protagonist is an older woman who has a sexual relationship with a much younger woman. After they breakup later in the film, she begins to stalk similar looking young women until they are reunited.
  • A man crudely tells the two women that he has kidnapped that he would like to rape them, but says he won't because he is "a good man."

Violence & Gore

  • A man accidentally shoots a girl in the head while attempting to shoot a gunman in self defense. She falls dead on her face in a very brief shot. Not gory.
  • A man kidnaps two women at gunpoint and ties them up in his basement. He shouts and threatens to rape and kill them, while extensively lecturing them on his Christian opinions and beliefs. He shoots one of the women in the shoulder. There is fake looking CGI blood squirting. The woman does not seem very hurt, and the man goes into a state of euphoria.
  • A police officer shoots and kills an unsuspecting, but violent man in the back through a window. There is lots of computer generated blood.
  • A quick scene shows a man watching the main character through binoculars and loading a gun, but nothing ends up happening. It is never explained what his intentions or motivations were.
