Brilliant!

There have been several really, really great episodes of Vice Principals, but this one was absolutely hilarious IMHO.

I haven't laughed out loud at a TV show in a long time, but this one had me in stitches start to finish. Kudos to Danny McBride as a writer, producer, actor and in this episode - director. Just brilliant!

And in fairness, Walton Goggins was equally brilliant. The episode would have not been nearly as entertaining with any other actor playing his role. Bravo!

Holy $hit

This was a really great episode. Under slightly different circumstances this could even have worked as the last episode. I think there are still some loose threads which need to be resolved and I expect a plot twist or two. Without giving any spoilers, I think it was Ray, but, I am not sure why. This really is a great show. It is very underrated. I look forward to the last episodes.

What happened?

After this so far incredible season which I absolutely adored, this episode seemed kind of... off. It was very rushed, the editing was clumsy and abrupt, none of Green's little details were present, which made this season a lot more than just absurdist comedy.

And then the title sequence came - directed by Danny McBride. As much as I love him, I must confess to disliking his directing style.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to the finale. It was a great ride.

Warning: Spoilers
This was the most wild episode of the show yet, and that is definitely saying something, but I have to wonder the direction they are headed in the finale. Will there be a twist of some kind? Russell can't be the shooter, that would be too obvious.

It just wasn't as funny as we know this show can be.
