This movie is exceptionally beautiful, extremely powerful, touching in so many ways. Every minute of it was adding a new angle, making viewer's mind and heart spin with so many different feelings. Unbelievable for a "family" movie to carry such a powerful piece of innocent human lives during WW II. All child actors did an excellent job, I loved all the scenes and the way the story builds up into series of powerfully fateful events. The story is so well communicated, and at the same time is so simple that it feels as if it is applicable to many lives and experiences during that time. I truly wish there were more movies as such where we experience someone's story enables viewer to relate to a personal experience without any high tech distractions, violent scenes, etc. This is a true example of a piece that can be fully absorbed with all it's power.
