Very cool. Some nice action and humor with some good character interactions. The animation is very nice, New York looks great. Black Widow's entrance was awesome. Captain America is fantastic in this as well as Hawkeye. Also a cool alternate version of a Superman story. It's basically if Superman was born and his planet wasn't destroyed until he was older. On Earth he acts very similar to Omni-Man but with less brutality. He's also similar to the alternate Superman from Justice League Gods & Monster's.

Stark and Falcon really bring it down. They're annoying. Also the lack of hand to hand combat.

What one might expect for comic book adaptation
JesseACLJ30 April 2014
Hyperion essentially was an early attempt by Marvel comics to imitate Superman (Later that same company would make subsequent attempts with Gladiator/Kallark and The Sentry). In their first comic book meeting Thor was only able to defeat Hyperion by summoning Odin's power through Mjolnir to reduce him in size. In the official Marvel universe handbook Hyperion is listed being able to lift in the 85 ton range which is below that of Thor or The Hulk. However Hyperion like Gladiator has the ability to manipulate anti-gravitons (explained in Quasar #54 volume I) allowing either of them to lift weights in excess of what they might normally be able to. Also, Hyperion's invulnerability exceeds that of Thor or The Hulk. The Avengers episode 'Hyperion' has significant flaws in it. Captain America was able to hurl Hyperion into a car with a single blow. Cap's strength is well below that of Spiderman whose level is below that of Loki. Being that the cartoon version of the Avengers is based on the 2012 live-action movie, where Captain America is barely able to hold his own against Loki whose strength level is 35 tons or greater, it made no sense that Hyperion was stunned by Cap's attack. Also, Iron-Man withstood many of Hyperion's blows. If Hyperion is truly a carbon copy of Superman then an unprepared Iron man would have no chance at all.
