Bad...so bad, it's nearly good
mahrae12 January 2014
Seriously, where does one start? Poor, stilted, acting. Laughable action and fighting sequences, firearms shooting that is beyond the unbelievable...weak to non-existent script...mixed up flow to storyline...disjointed editing...directing (was there even a director?). So why, watch it? Well, it's so bad you get transfixed and want to see more of how bad it will get. Unfortunately, it just keeps getting worse.

The sad reality is that the subject of sex slavery is real and it deserves to be treated better than this. While I expect that the cast and crew felt they done their best, the reality is that this is a very disappointing use of film making practice.

Bad very bad

Seriously, why is this called a movie? Poor, bad acting. Laughable action and fighting scenes, gun shooting beyond the unbelievable...script with no consistency...mixed up storyline...disjointed editing...directing (was there even a director?). So why, did I watch it? Because of the rating 7.4 on IMDb but that is so wrong! The movie is so bad you get in a sort of trance and want to see if it's possible to get worse and yes it gets worser. But than you wake up and you can say wow I saw a bad movie. People do not look just if do not have nothing else to do. Such movies with a present problem may be interesting but this is not worth to produce.

OMG SO SO BAD

Michael Madsen and Joanna Pacula must be REALLY hard up for money. Madsen has never been a great actor but he's capable of doing a damned sight better than this performance.

This film is garbage.

The actring is woeful, the visual effects are laughable.

The plot, really bad.

The script have major holes in it. It's impossible to suspend disbelief to this level. It has a feel of a first year film student's work. Even at that level, as a graded piece of film, it would not get better than a C minus. If it were submitted by a sen=cond year or higher, it would garner an absolute FAILING grade.

Unfortunately is not bad enough to be good.

"Follow the money trail. That's what they say "

Warning: Spoilers
Directed by, produced by, written by, edited by and starring Raymond O'Neill, am not sure he was that competent in any area, particularly as the lead actor. He was wooden as wood. The story is confusing and you never got an idea of who was who. Incident followed incident with no rhyme or reason. The fight scenes were unimpressive. The film also wastes good actors like Michael Madsen and Joanna Pacula. An important subject, a poor movie.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN CLEVELAND
nogodnomasters18 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This is a cheap indie about ICE stopping human slave trafficking in an unnamed US city that looks like Cleveland. Michael Madsen plays Carlos, a Venezuelan banker who can also handle himself. He acts as a double agent while being a good guy. Mike Johnson (Ray O'Neill) is an ICE agent wanting to infiltrate the "Syndicate" that is kidnapping young girls from Cleveland. Ray Keiffer (Ray Goodwin) is a city official who won't sign off on a building code variance, putting his daughter at risk.

The sets were cheap looking. The actors were unconvincing. Even Madsen seemed out of it. Dialogue wasn't exciting. The film was mostly poorly written drama interrupted by lame action scenes, some reminding me more of "Police Squad" than a serious production.

There are other bad low budget films available.

Parental Guide: F-bombs. Nudity.

Raising Awareness

For those of us who understand the business component of the industry, must acknowledge the perseverance required to complete a film with a lower budget, excellent writing as well as qualified actors is challenging.

I felt the most valuable message portrayed in Ray Oneill's film Ice Agent was human trafficking is real!

ICE AGENT has people talking about Human Trafficking and I think that is a huge step for society to open their eyes and ears to the reality of which we are living in today.

As individuals we can find a million things wrong with all projects. From my perspective the positive far outweighs the negative. Bed of luck to the director and his team on future projects!

Entertaining and Action Packed!
Prof_Tatalovic19 November 2013
This is an entertaining independent action-crime-drama about sexual slavery. Very solid production on a lower "indie budget", but filled with special effects, fight stunts, guns, and tough guys. Michael Madsen leads the pack in his trademark "bad ass" persona. Very good cinematography and well choreographed fights are part of every sequence in this motion picture. Acting is good, with so many new faces, mainly out of Ohio - since this film was almost entirely shot on locations in Cleveland. Overall, an indie film that showcases variety of possibilities when it comes to non-Hollywood productions and labor-of-love filmmaking.

Film needs an icing

I didn't realize, how bad this film could be. Even in it's starting, I was roll eyed. Madsen and Pacula are great actors, and they'rer just wasted in this B descent schlock. Madsen, a busy working actor, merely walks through his role, and we can tell, he'd rather be other places, like on better movie sets. As this film goes on, I'm just dumbstruck by the terribly shocking acting, sloppy writing, and unrealistic circumstances, like a human trafficking victim, overthrowing her adversary, when being tied up. You can tell the explosions, including the one at the start, have been done by computer imagery, not on the actual set of the scene itself. We have that cliched' response after "How do I know I can trust you" from a throaty, groaning Madsen. Yes Michael, we know you hate doing this pic. Pacula, gives the best performance, and our male star, O'Neill, and it's his show, isn't bad, tripling as actor, writer, director, which really came as know surprise, as looking up and confirming, the writer and director name. Again, we have the human trafficking plot, where innocent girls are snatched from shopping malls, on city streets, and are sold to sicko pedo's in auctions at warehouses. One involves a girl no more than twelve, an perverted Asian couple sample, There is some real nastiness, and some nice female bods, one pool scene involving two teen girls who strip in front of their captor/abuser/oh yes, and he's a judge, is quite saucy. This terribly put together film, has choppy editing, and some music scores, thrown into some scenes, don't fit, as judged against their prior scene. How bad does a film have to be? Well, just watch Ice Agent, and appreciate, it's B grade descent into bottom basement fllm making. 0.5/10.
