I even laughed at a joke or two. However much telegraphed it was.
Freddie is going to a sci fi conference based on his turn as a villain in Doctor Who. Apparently he was voted as the 10th best villain in the show.
It seems that was the only acting job Freddie had. However his overcoat is old and tatty and they go to the store to buy a new one. Stuart is shocked at the prices of the clothes.
Meanwhile new neighbour Ash turns to Freddie and Stuart for relationship advice over his girlfriend.
Later Freddie and Ash team up as Stuart is suspected of playing away as he is acting suspiciously.
It turns out that he has got a job in order to get enough money to buy Freddie the overcoat.
A sweet ending of a couple who love each other despite their waspish behaviour. Something Ash learns from it.
The jokes are still below average and it still comes across as a poor imitation of Mrs Brown's Boys which started a year.
