It reminds Faust legend. And the moral choices. And the shadows of the past. A story about survive, succes, obsesion. But, real significant is especially what you feel seeing this admirable short film. Because its force has as source a real simple detail - it is a film about yourself. Scene by scene. The explorer front to his friend improvised grave. The walk and his not reasonable price. The compass, the tent, the flag and the words in diary. The woman and the bizarre reaction. The man and his dogsled. The atmosphere of the last scene and the reaction front to slide detail. Almost a religious film. Or only moral one. As question to its public more than as portrait. Because its subject is the fundamental option. Who can be wrong in so many senses.
