..simply excellent anthropological documentary on the history of the blues. Just watching legends like R.L. Burnside and Hubert Sumlin playing and talking about the good and bad 'ol times is by itself worth a watch! A must watch for all blues folks out there who're genuinely passionate about the roots and evolution of the music.

Splendid refresher on the blues

It was quite heartwarming to watch this film. The history of blues, told through direct interviews of icons. The pace never slows down, primarily because the entire film is narratives from the legends interspersed with their performance videos. Lots of historical footage. An absolute must watch for anyone taking interest in this genre of music
