It was nice. The concept was interesting and the ghost pirate was actually entertaining to watch. Chris Elliott's voice is amazing. Song was decent too. The main highlight is when SpongeBob, Patrick and Mr. Krabs get sucked into the void and was shown their worst fears, it was surprisingly clever and funny the way the writers and animators portrayed this. Ultimately, this, like a lot of episodes in this season, was set back by the characters' flanderization. Mr. Krabs' excessive greed and Patrick's stupidity was not enjoyable/funny to watch and held back this episode a lot. Overall, a low-good but still another forgettable episode.

I did not come close to finding this very good, but at least it wasn't filled to the brim with filler as many double-length episodes tend to be. Patrick was inane as ever but mostly harmless at the beginning, at least. I'm not a fan of the nonsensical endings they like to use, so this one bothered me.
